Let Your Demons Go

Contributor: Roberta Breetai

- -
Let your demons go,
set them free, put them out there, out--
into the sky, into the dark.
You don't need them anymore.
They don't serve you,
only try to master you,
rip their claws of doubt across your mind,
your eyes, your heart.

Let your demons go,
because the sooner you surrender
to happiness
to keeping only empty cages,
their doors open to the sky,
the sooner you can be free.

Free
And
Happy.
