arachnid draglines
fell from night black thread-cocoon trees:
spiders, subtle bites
imagined
on a fatigued trek:
hour three
won’t hire an expensive dread-of-night cab
miles to go
till shower, bed
spider nightmare dawn
the soft flesh tickle of quick-scurry legs
