Today is a great day.
I know it,
I feel it,
I know it,
like breathing, heart pumping,
the day goes easy, happy,
Service done quick,
Done with the day left ahead,
Done and easy, breathing light,
Eyes celebrating over relieved smiles,
Easily fought, easily won.
For at least this day, we are kings,
And the whole of happiness sprawls out before us.
