out of the office

vacation to use or lose

respite from routine

beware the doldrums

summer autumn winter spring

no wind at low tide

single male grackle

perched on the peak of the roof

boat-tailed weather vane

too late for rescue

search resumes by air and sea

this somber morning

monarch butterflies

flitting through the autumn air

near the King and Prince

answering machine

still taking calls for someone

stuck on island time
