A Chance encounter
A happenstance of love
between a woman
and a man

A few
written words
was all it took
Struck by love
with just one look
Two souls
hollowed with pain
not searching
for another
come together

Heartfelt expressions
of love and hope
release the hold
of an invisible rope
Anguish and emptiness
a forgotten past
Love and
companionship
found at last

Hand and hand
lovers walk
Dinner together
time to talk
Poetry shared
while the music plays
Compatible
in so many ways

Destiny
brought them
together at last
What seemed
like forever
happened
very fast

A new dawn
a luminescence
of light
Darkened
horizons
once again
shine bright

Bonded hearts
together
now beat

destined
